Today's set of photos will be my last from Cyprus. In a few minutes we board the bus back to Larnaca, Cyprus, from whence we will fly to Tel Aviv to begin the second part of the program.

This week in Cyprus with my colleagues / fellows has been remarkable. As I've already written, I'm anxious in anticipation of our upcoming exploration of aspects of the Israeli situation. The focus will be new for me. Already in these final days here in Cyprus our attention has turned toward aspects of the Israeli reality. Naturally, fascinating as the conflict here in Cyprus is for me, it doesn't touch me, or matter to me in any way like the Israeli/Palestinian conflict does. But a week of friendship and honest discussion with my colleagues - in all their diversity - has made it possible for us to have good discussions together in Israel.
Must board the bus now, so will summarize my recent days in Cyprus and offer a few thoughts in my next post.
Love to all,
Joel
